Alberton Angling Club is a family friendly angling club where the emphasis is placed on competitive fishing, suitable atmosphere for our members, and transparency.

The Alberton Angling Club has a rich history and has long been a role player in the Central Gauteng angling community.

The Alberton Angling Club was formed, after Megawatt and Samie angling clubs merged. The club was affiliated to the Gauteng Freshwater Bank Angling Association until Sept 2004, but in October 2004 joined Central Gauteng Freshwater Angling Association. It was decided at the clubs annual AGM in 2011, that the club will not be affiliated to any association and only be recognized as a social angling club
